Newsletters

The BACLS newsletter will be emailed to members on a monthly basis, and will cover events, publications, and achievements which involve our members. Please email these directly to Dr Julia Ditter, our Publicity Officer [julia-ditter@outlook.com / julia.ditter@uni-konstanz.de].

A few notes on formatting:

Please send a short description of the item and a web link. This is to ensure that the item can be posted easily on social media: please don’t send PDFs/images/word documents.
For example – Talk on X author at Y venue (Date) : [Link to booking] or New book on Y Writer by X Author : [Link to Page on Publisher’s Website]
If it fits within the 140 character limit of Twitter, do feel free to include your handle for enquiries.
CFP/event notifications can be posted twice: once when the event is announced and a week before abstracts are due/registration closes.
Please keep news relevant to our interests as an organisation, which are broad but contemporary.
We are introducing a new category to the newsletter titled “Achievements”. We understand this as an open and non-exhaustive category that can include anything you would like to celebrate and share with the community, for example prizes you’ve won, completed PhDs, a new job, a book contract, an exciting new development or anything else you can think of.
